Ummm...have you met many chinese women? Unlikely he would have noticed a difference.

Mulan isn't a bad film in many ways. The female lead is strong, capable, puts her life on the line to both save her country AND her father, and she can kick ass all on her own. The problems stem from the sidekicks (Murphy's Mu Shu is fucking ANNOYING!) and the DPS ending where she has to marry the handsome jackass...because Disney MUST have ALL their female characters get married in the end. PERIOD.
