@Luckyday

No you're wrong

Zelda's the Lord of the  Rings of video games, it doesn't need a dark and gritty version especially when you consider half the events of Zelda are pretty damn violent take for example:
Going down the list THE GAME BEGINS WITH A GENOCIDE!(the flooding of the world)
And ends with a man being stabbed IN THE FACE and another committing suicide

That's sad to hear. If there one franchise that is desperate for a gritty reboot it's the Legend of Zelda. I'm a right?

The saddest thing is that Zelda has never been anything like this. In fact, it's getting farther away from this depiction. Just look at "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword", a more awkwardly colorful metro-sexual designed game with bright colors and an average fell these days with graphics like that of a 2004 PS2 game despite coming out at late 2011.

I just with that Shigeru Miyamoto actually make this game continue on for the better and live off on making the game better. I would love to see an actual modern Zelda game with some real innovation and is truly inspired rather than forced out their to live off on just nostalgia on the blatant same game which actually proves it has over lived its inspiration.

Who knows, maybe this this

Would be a reality rather then a complete dramatization to misslead players that it has branched out into something better when really, it's just

(I take zero credit for these pictures. I actually gotten this one from a different user)
