If it's crap ... We'll tell you
We know you all love Grant & Jason's "The Greatest Drunk Stories Ever Told"...
And who doesn't love a good scary story or a kick-ass party? Well, this week the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen will be combining all of these things with our favorite holiday, Halloween to bring you:
A night of cringe-inducing stories and discussions about haunted houses and Halloween parties from our favorite movies, TV shows, comic books and video games. And maaaybe a secret guest may come scratching at the door.
We're recording this one early in the week again so get your questions in before the witching hour.
And whatever you do, DON'T GO TO SLEEP at the party.
Each recording seems like there's just as much fun going on off mic with others as there is going on that gets on mic. Are there any great moments while recording LEOG that never made it into the podcast?
Hey Leaguers, Happy Halloween
My question is what is you're favorite horror comedy to watch on this spooktackluar evening?
Thank you and P.S. Batman Arkham City is kick-ass!
What is the awesomest Halloween costume you have ever seen or the worst, and if you could have any Haloween Costume what would it be? Personally I wish I could either have the Cristopher Nolan Batman suit or a kickass Doctor Fate costume with a helmet of Nabu made of solid gold.
Thanks and LONG LIVE THE LEAGUE!
P.S. I'm pretty sure Fungusmonkey's answer is going to be Captain America's costume.
I know this may seem like a weird question but at what age should you stop Trick or Treating?
Thanks and Long live the League!
Dear Crypt Keepers of the LEOG
One of my favorite parts of Halloween are the Halloween specials. Mostly cartoons, but other shows had great Halloween Specials too. What are some of your favorite specials to watch around Halloween?
Sorry if this has been asked before.
Happy Halloween to all you awesome haunters and hellcats.
Good Evening children of the League!!!!
My question is have your or one of your friends heard a great horror story that left you in chills or a nightmares?
Drink and sleep tight AHAhahAhAhaHa...ummm sorry!
Let's talk about lovecraft.
i was very dissapointed by the fact that there is not going to be an at the mountains of madeness movie but i'm wondering if you can actually properly convert lovecraft into film as his stories rely heavily on being nondescript and forcing the reader to use his/her imagination; something that modern horror movies are incapable of doing. Also, would modern movie-goers even find the "great old ones" scary as most horror these days revolves around slashers and torture porn (if you actually call that shit horror).
What makes a great Halloween costume and who from the League is most likely to wear one that no one will recognize?
