This Week On the LEOG: "RAAAWWWRRRR!!"...*cough* We, um, celebrate our Favorite Monsters

As we crawl into the last week of our October-long Horrorthon, the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen will spend a night hunting and dissecting out favorite monsters of all time.

Let's be honest, long before any of us were old enough to watch anything featuring Leatherface or Cenobites or Hannibal Lecter it was seeing monster movies on TV that brought all of us into this.

Who's your favorite?
Who was your first?
Which one is the scariest?
What...

...Hold up! This is the questions post where YOU are supposed to ask questions of US.  Don't sit there looking scared, start asking.

Also we're gearing up for the big Annual LEOG Halloween -Lose the Podcast party. feel free to share your party/ costume plans with us. Post some photos with your comments on this week's show when it goes up over the weekend.

I have something special in mind for me and Cyrus but I'm having some trouble getting him on board.

"And here I thought co-hosting a show with you was a pain in the neck. Sheesh!"

Hello Members of the League,
After Doctor Who and Joss Whedon, Godzilla style movies are where I geek out most.
So I wonder, which do you prefer, the guy in the rubber suit or the CGI monster destroying the city? and why?
Thanks and as always, Long Live The League!
You lovely lads and ladies.
If you could keep any monster as a totally tame pet...which one?
arrested development for the win!!!
Hey League,

For years I've been hoping and praying for a remake of The Creature From the Black Lagoon. When I was growing up, the first movie was one that both scared me and amazed me with what they could do with such limited effects. Then it hit me, if they were to remake it today, it would be CG and terrible.

Is there a monster or monster film you'd want to see remade but upon further thought realized if it were done today it'd be a bad idea?
Hello TO THE LEGENDS OF LEOG.

My question is...

What is your favorite monster death?

Sure there is the obvious ones, like King Kong famously falling to his untimely demise, and the Wicked Witch of the West getting water splashed on hersmelly ass. So, what are some of the less well known, and personal favorite monster fatalities that you guys would love to share with us?

Thank you for the fantastic Horror theme shows, and LONG LIVE THE LEAGUE!!!
My favorite death of a monster was also one that totally messed with me. It was the death of both flys (fly head/human body and human head/fly body) in the 1958 The Fly. The death of the fly-headed human in the press was gruesome but the image of the human-headed fly in the spider's web screaming, "Help Me," freaked me the hell out. I haven't seen that movie in years and I still recall it in vivid detail. Goosebumps.
Mr. Whiplash here,

What Japanese monster would you want to destroy a major American city, and what city?
Does Sailor Moon count?
Dear LEOG,

Who do you guys think is the scariest television monster villain? Mine was the smoke monster from LOST. Long live the League!
Sigmund the Sea Monster, something about him just freaked me out.
An answer to your question Mr. Leon...

Who's your favorite? It's a between the Queen Alien or John Carpenter's The Thing.
Who was your first? Jeff Goldblum in The Fly.
Which one is the scariest? Wicked Witch of the West

And for my Halloween costume... The middle section of a Human Centipede, yeah that's right, from the the movie 'The Human Centipede'!
