I'm sorry, it's all my fault. This week's episode where the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen discuss the best & worst romances from all of our favorite comic books/ TV shows/movies and throw out some helpful advice should've been last week where it might've done you some good.
Instead we'll turn this week's show over to our resident Dr. Nerdlove who'll give you an autopsy report on what you did wrong and answer all the questions of all you owners of lonely hearts. Step right up, don't be shy. No question is too intimate or embarrassing. If you don't want your name read on the air you can always ask the doctor directly here.
This ought to be a fun one and I guarantee that by the end of this episode you'll be as blissful as this happy couple.

What is the best geek movie to watch on Valentine day with your girl. Mine would be High Fidelity, but what would you watch while snuggling up next to your girl.
P.S. YAY on no prop 8
Permalink Reply by Brutuxan on February 14, 2012 at 12:12am Yo Doc Harris and the League!
I'm not sure if Harris covered this in a "Dr. NerdLove" article (which by the way I ALWAYS enjoy reading), however do you know any examples of a bad first date due to one of the partner's being WAY too obnoxious or just simply "trying too hard to be comedic"?
What should the person do in a situation like this, if they can't keep their mouth shut?
Thanks, and Long Live Dr. NerdLove..........and The League!

Permalink Reply by Stach on February 14, 2012 at 2:53am I think the only romantic comedy I've ever seen all the way through is City Lights, and it was great.

Permalink Reply by Wodenson on February 14, 2012 at 12:32am So, we all know that people don't change. Once they get out of their formative years, they pretty much are who they are outside of traumatic experiences. So my question is, how does one politely induce trauma? Also, any tips on getting it to produce the desired results? Thanks.
Permalink Reply by Wodenson on February 17, 2012 at 2:07pm Thanks guys, yes it is about changing myself. I guess I should not get all my philosophy from Gregory House. I want to change, but I suck at it and never get far. Also, yes Leon, Wodenson as in Son of Woden or more commonly Odin. I guess I have to wait for my batman moment as Harris calls it. Lastly, this is not for one person in particular this is just about becoming a better me.
Permalink Reply by Composite Who Horrible on February 14, 2012 at 12:44am Hello Members of the Lovable League,
My question is going to be a little deep this week. it is very clear that our world has a fascination with love. From TV to movies to books, we are constantly bombarded with messages that love will be found and prevail. Why do you think people enjoy watching so much media about love? Is it to help us feel that we will someday find that special someone or do you feel there is something deeper?
Thanks and as always, Long Live the League!!!
