Comment by Dr. Detfink on June 26, 2012 at 5:12pm I don't understand why ONE guy who posts in only 3 groups gets so much damn attention.
I tore off my moniker name tag as soon as I received it in Austin. I am a person. I am NOTHING more than a man who posts about comics, movies, and TV shows.
I loved being anonymous and Korey wasn't the only guy I refused drinks from. Ask Palpa, Ask Porter, Ask Humungus, Ask Grant, Ask Leon, Ask Cyrus. Then reluctantly after some time spent, I finally caved.
Why? Cause I felt the guy staying at the Four Seasons should be the LAST man to be bought drinks.
Buy drinks for the souls who couldn't afford $3 Lonestar...and there were MANY who were on a VERY tight budget.
Comment by Dr. Detfink on June 26, 2012 at 5:05pm My mistake, Gerald. You called Cyrus, a little cunt.
We are working from a clean slate. I am speaking to you. I am responding to you, which means I am trying...and that is pure and sincere.
But I would suggest you don't get in my business because you don't know every thing between Korey and I that stretches back many years. Like I said, I don't hate the man but it's amusing that this is the third time his insecurities forced him to burn up precious podcast time on foolishness.
Every one who knows me, knows where I am. He had four days at Spill Dot Con, skype, e-mail, mobile phone, twitter to discuss this with me first. Naw. Just throw it out there in public. Like Timmy said, who wants to listen to dumb shit that has NOTHING to do with the coolness of Spill Dot Con?
and It's not the first time...and probably won't be the last time. And like last time, I'll have to settle this OFF the boards...because I don't believe anyone else should have any say in what is CLEARLY between 2 people.
Comment by Travis Pickle on June 26, 2012 at 5:04pm i just started watching Dexter last night on Netflix
This is gonna be fun!

Comment by Mr. E on June 26, 2012 at 3:44pm @ Jita - Agreed. I still like the show, but I actually think they could've ended it a few seasons back, when it was still firing on all cylinders, or at the very least combine elements of the last two, seeing as they almost ended the same way.
Now that they're getting close to the end game, the stakes will be higher, so I'm counting on seeing some stuff that doesn't feel like I've seen it before.
Comment by Dr. Detfink on June 26, 2012 at 3:43pm Gotta respect Dexter has been going on for that long. Shows confidence in the material by the network and gives me hope that Game of Thrones will finish in its entirety.
Comment by Conejita on June 26, 2012 at 3:41pm Even though I haven't been thrilled with the direction of Dexter for a while now, I at least expect some interesting things to happen leading up to the final season. I they'd just end it now though instead of stretching it out.
Comment by Mr. E on June 26, 2012 at 3:34pm Video Review of the Spider-Man game. Won't embed.
Comment by Dr. Detfink on June 26, 2012 at 3:30pm I don't hate either of you, Gerald. But I always find it amusing that you both bait me. Only difference is when I am treating prisoners from Rykers, I get paid for that behavior (and they're waaay smarter at trying to strike a nerve).
Since you still call Cyrus an asshole on your page I think it's fair for me to ask you: Who do you hate more Cyrus or me? ;)
Comment by Mr. E on June 26, 2012 at 3:27pm I think this is for the best given the last few seasons.
The countdown for Dexter's end has begun. It’s still awhile away – two whole seasons worth – but in a new interview with TV Guide, Dexter executive producer Sara Colleton says that Season 8 of the show will absolutely be the last one.
Dexter was renewed for two seasons last year, and at the time, Showtime were coy on whether or not the show would wrap up after that or if it could continue on. However, asked by TV Guide whether the next two years could be considered the end, she replies, “This was definite. We wanted to end it this year, but the network convinced us that it would be best to do it in two years. In some ways, this is a two-season series-ender. We have worked that out and know where it's going to end. Next year will definitely be the last year of Dexter. Absolutely.”
In the interview, Colleton goes into some interesting specifics on what to expect in Season 7, debuting this fall. Obviously, this could be considered spoilers if you don’t want to know anything about what’s to come...
The previous description of Yvonne Strahovski’s new character said she was someone called in to help Miami Metro with some old cases, but it turns out her backstory is straight out of Natural Born Killers, with Colleton revealing, “She plays this woman named Hannah, who took off from this small rinky-dink Florida town and ran off with this older guy and they went on this wild killing spree. So when they got caught, she turned state's evidence on the boyfriend, he went to jail for life and she started a new life. Years later, she's in her 30s and she will intersect with Dexter. I would say Hannah is a still water that runs very deep and is quite unlike any woman Dexter has ever known.
It also looks like the past will be coming up in a big way, as Colleton talked about a big new storyline for LaGuerta, which begins when she finds a blood slide at a crime scene, after Dexter loses it. Says Colleton, “The only other time that she had seen this blood slide was in the copy case of the Bay Harbor Butcher. Her dear friend Sergeant Doakes, everyone thought he was the Bay Harbor Butcher, and thought that when he died, the Bay Harbor Butcher died with him. Now, she begins to suspect, ‘Is the Bay Harbor Butcher still alive and how can I set about proving the innocence of my friend Sergeant Doakes?’ That is something that's a silent thing at the start, but it's, again, going to be eventually working its way back to Dexter. It's going to be very interesting to see if she can exonerate him.”
