On FE I'm not sure we ever talk about anything too important for anyone to keep serious focus on us, I always thought of it as more a show you put on while doing other things. We have done plenty of shows before without any music (nearly every season 2 show doesn't contain any background music) but people seem to like hearing it in the bg especially when it relates to the topic at hand and people have enjoyed suggesting songs. I do take the opinion into consideration though and if I got more feedback either way, maybe create a poll of some sort which people prefer, I'd see what would work out the best. I did use a lot of electronica this last show, so maybe less exciting music next time? Maybe turn it down a bit lower..we'll figure something out.

Can you please stop music in the background after you guys introduce the show. Music constantly playing in the background can distract from what you are talking about. You want the listeners to focus on the topics you are speaking about. You are all great host and you guys can entertain people without constantly playing music. Just try it for one podcast and see what happens.
