@Josh
This is gettin FN crazy about now! Look through all this BS... I'm from the 90's! When i put rap CD's over the Smurfs {whatever} B4 TAS came on! Don't tell me what the fuck i'm doin. I love TAS, and if it came out now... it would look like AA!! I find it funny, that none{None}of you said anything about my comment on "VENGEANCE"?. Not even one of you.
I hate the F out of the oldschool Freeze from the comic. TAS was the first to make the guy cool! "{no pun intended}"
@Gift... I bet if you just made a fan film out of AA, the story {i think} would be more likable to a guy like you! Now back to more vids from the show.
Comment by Gift of the Magi on November 7, 2011 at 7:37am The game uses the basic universe of Batman, adds about 50 pounds of muscle and goes with the Call Of Duty "dirty things are cool" rules of trying to be realistic while not even coming close. And again, my biggest problem with AC and AA is the stories. They are TERRIBLE, just pure shit. Lots of eye candy and fighting, but so little thought or heart.
Batman: The Animated Series was HEAVY on the story, having some of the BEST written story archs ever made for the Dark Knight...and they did it using classic 1940s and 1950s looks and styles. AA has so very little to do with this show and to compare the two...sorry, but it feels like a slap in the face for me.
AA is a game, TAS was a masterpiece.
Mr. Freeze in the comics was actually a bit of a joke prior to TAS, more like the version in the old Batman TV show. One of the many awesome things TAS did was taking complete shit villains and making them cool, deep and relevent.
Mr. Freeze was one...and my personal favorite outside of him was The Clock King.

Comment by Gift of the Magi on November 6, 2011 at 7:04am Jack...if you're going to post a comment directed to me, pick either here OR my page and not both...or at least make different comments.
When I refer to a 'true fan' I refer to the idea that the Arkham series has so little to do with either the comics version of Batman OR the subject of this group: Batman TAS. It's a completely different and made up alternate universe where SOMEHOW Gotham City and the US were so stupid, they actually gave a section of a major city to every criminal psychopath to rule as they see fit...without bothering to make sure the normal citizens were moved out first.
