What Novel would be a good movie?
Have you ever read a book and thought, "that would make a great movie! How has no one made that yet?" I have with novels such as "The Given Day". Who would direct? Who would star? Who would adapt it? Anyone have an opinion?

I'd say for the Given Day adapted by Brian Helgeland, directed by Ben Affleck, and Jeremy Renner in the lead role.

Daemon Hall by Andrew Nance
Guillermo det Toro would adapt it and direct it, Tom Waits or Jack Nicholson would star in it. It is a really good horror book for young adults, but I reallly did like it, and encourage others to read it, and its sequel Return to Daemon Hall.
I also think Waits should write the music for it.

The Mask/Mask Returns (graphic novel) John Arcudi
Ivan Raimi and Sam Raimi could adapt it and Sam Raimi could direct it, either Mark Hamil could be the voice of 'Big Head' (The Mask) or Jim Carrey could reprise the role.
Bringing Evilness to the character, bringing a lot of violence/gore, and good special effects to bring Big Head to life.
