I know I've discussed this at length. Lazy writting, but there is something there to enjoy. First book was annoying in many ways, with a very simplistic cast of characters. Second book had a more dynamic cast and was the best of the trilogy. The third book was absolute garbage. Any story that has the removes the main character from a vast majority of the main story, only to be told what happens by a third party is a very lazy/easy way to reveal major events.
