The Joker is back, without a face
Back in Dectective comics#1 the jokergot his face skinned off, well after a year he will be back in october and he is fucking scary and means business. He has been planning and this time he plans on taking on everyone in the batman family, this should be good with barbra and Jason, someone he shot and almost paralzyed her(new 52) andhe killed jason who came back so It will be intresting to see him fight them but I really just want to see him without his face, is anyone else curious what he looks like now.

One of the very few things about the New 52 I somewhat enjoyed was the removal of the horribly overused Joker...abeit by rather gruesome means. The 'return' is just a way to try to make him scary again, but from the pic above he looks more mummy-ish. And taking on the Bat-Family? When has he done anything else?
I wonder if this is a good idea at all. DC is still marketing Batman as a kids product as well as for adults, but this turn and the recent Court of Owls story put the comics squarely in the mature content category. As a parent, there is no way in hell I would allow my kid to collect them now, at least until they showed me that they could handle it. Anyhoo, the increasingly more violent and bloody nature of the comic may appeal to more mature readers...but with general readership going down and the New 52 not generating anything new for the company, perhaps this is NOT the direction the company needs to go.
Meh, personally I would have already killed both Joker and Wayne off AND made a definitive, set in stone background for Joker.
