Hearing about this has officially fucked my day up.

Can you just imagine: all those people going to the movies, just trying to have a good time, probably just as excited as we are about seeing DKR, ending up getting brutally, senselessly  murdered. May they rest in peace.

That guy had a fuck up agenda is all I can say.

hury up

Thanks for sharing the witness report. Seriously, who the fuck would do this?

I know right? He didn't even dress up like Bane! Way to go, doing it all wrong. Wasted potential. What a fucking scrub.

Better than that loser who dressed up as the Joker last time and got arrested for only stealing posters. Honestly, not one death to his name. What a jip.

Wow, what a loser.

Criminals are so incompetent these days, they always overlook the important details that would make their crime truly legendary. If I ever decided to go insane and commit a violent crime, I'd make it as fucking spectacular as possible. Go out with a bang.

Also, and this is just a minor details, but the Midnight Shooter really should have killed himself if he didn't plan on escaping into the night. That's what all the good mass murderers do. Not this guy, he just chilled there and got arrested. What a pussy.

Oh, come on.  It's obvious this was an obsessive, deranged fanboy who was butt-hurt that they decided not to continue the Joker story. I concur, though: this guy's a fucking fool.  There are some old friends-of-my-family that actually live not too far from where this happened.

It's really insane out there.  Like another poster mentioned, it's good to be vigilant, and I like to peruse whatever place I plan on going to before I actually go to it these days.  May sound like paranoia on my part, but it's become a habit.

I know you guys like to make jokes and all. I guess, it's a way for some of you to deal with this tragedy. I would caution you guys not to make light of this event. People died in a movie theater in a extremely violent way. Let's not forget that they are real life victims here and people lives will never be the same again.

I do think their may some long term consequences from today's tragedy. They may even stop midnight showing of violent movies or even a move to ban them in certain areas or cities. Meaning the only way to see a violent movie would be at home.

Holy hell, Superman, that was one hell of a leap you just made there. So far, there hasn't been ANY correlation between the shooter, and his reasons for doing it being motivated by the movie. As far as we know, he chose tonight to do so, as he knew the theater would be packed on opening night, being such a popular franchise, giving him more targets to choose from for the vicious spectacle he was attempting to create. The most any loon will get from this is "MOAR GUN CONTROL GRERRRRrr" or some other bullshit reason, other than the real one: there was a crazy fuck, with dangerous weapons in the same place as sane, innocent people.

I said they may, may (used to express possibility) pass laws to restrict midnight showing of violent movies or even a move to ban them in certain areas or cities.I didn't say they will.

Don't get me wrong. I'm deeply saddened by the Colorado TDKR shooting incident, but from a morbid cold-hearted business angle, do you guys think that this will actually boost the ticket sales for TDKR (like Heath Ledger's death did for TDK)?
