Rock as LOBO?
Well the interwebs has brought us again some exciting news. For those that don't know, a Lobo film is in the works and the bounty hunter may be portrayed by the rock aka Dwanye Johnson.

This is a great career step for dwanye and I really hope this finally give him a character to latch on to. But I personally don't find it this role ideal for The rock, though his physical match goes without questioning, the dumb lovey personality of Lobo doesn't seem to fit. Dwanye seems a little too charismatic for such a simple minded Lobo, but who know. I could be wrong, What do you think?

At first I thought, 'But he looks nothing like Lobo!" Then I saw your side by side picture. That might be just work. At any rate, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Hell, it couldn't possibly suck more than that Shaquille O'Neal Steel movie.

Idk I like the Rock but if the studios plan to use Lobo in other DC related movies (sequels) I doubt they'll use him (the Rock) because he is getting older. They might go with an younger & not very well known actor...most likely. It would be cool to see Rock as Lobo though, but maybe in a fan film ala Thomas Jane as Frank Castle?
