Hi Jon.
It has been four weeks since my last.....Oh sorry, wrong meeting.I've never watched the show and don't plan to. However, I know that the head writer is very talented, so I'm not surprised that the show has developed the cult following that it has.

I'm about to do the one thing that you should NEVER do here on Spill... try to be reasonable! From the point of view of regular folks Trekkies probably look like fools, but Star Trek is a great show, nothing wrong with a little escapism and fantasy as long as it doesn't affect your regular life. My Little Pony is a a good show that's very obviously for little girls but the show is actually very pleasant. You can be a man and still appreciate a beautiful doll without being perverted!
Unfortunately there are a LOT of people who think that just because they don't like the show, it shouldn't exist, but the show is financed by Hasbro who themselves own the My Little Pony brand and the TV channel The Hub that airs the show so it can't be cancelled by anyone other than themselves and since the show is comparatively cheap to make, even if it were to loose almost all it's viewers it would still be made as a marketing tool for it's product so that show ain't going nowhere y'all! We have a similar situation with Transformers Prime.

I'm sorry if I was unclear. No-one here has said they want the show cancelled but many people in many other blogs and discussions on this website have stated they think the show should not exist at all. My comment was intended for anyone who was thinking it should be cancelled but hadn't said anything yet.

I am all for the show existing but on the other hand I think grown men not just liking this show but buying any merchandise shouldn't!
