Wow! Andrew Garfield is PERFECT as Peter Parker AND Spider-Man! He NAILS both personalities PERFECTLY! Emma Stone is just wonderful as Gwen Stacy, and her chemistry with Garfield couldn't be better. Denis Leary, as her father, George Stacy, is great. I really don't understand the complaints people have. Except for two small things. I didn't really like the way they handled Uncle Ben's death (although I did like Martin Sheen in the role) and the mid-credits "stinger" might be the worst one I've ever seen. All in all, though, I was REALLY impressed.

Permalink Reply by LunaticLMD on July 8, 2012 at 1:08pm The Three Stooges - Low Matinee. I found myself entertained for a majority of the movie, especially the beginning; but it wasn't laugh out funny.
Permalink Reply by Joanne on July 8, 2012 at 4:15pm The Amazing Spiderman - 7.5/10 A lot better than what some reviews are saying. Andrew Garfield is a better Peter Parker/Spiderman. Flawed, but entertaining film.
Captain America: The First Avenger - 7/10 - Another pretty entertaining film, better than I expected. Chris Evan definitely suits the role. He looks weird as his skinny version though.
