New Boondocks movie not about the Boondocks
Was browsing some of my usual sites and found that there is now a kick starter for the uncle Ruckus movie from "The Boondocks" animated series. it was posted on its facebook page and is now on youtube with a real life depiction of Uncle Ruckus character. Given the tone of recent movies dealing with slurs being slung around and the potential for this character to continue the trend, what do the other Spill members and lurkers think of this?

The thing with these crazy side character types like an Uncle Ruckus is that the less you know about them, the better. Just let them be wild and insane and over-the-top on the side while the main characters go through the important character growths and what not. Characters like this are mostly one-note and work because they come into the story every once in a while. But trying to base an ENTIRE story around them, around the one joke they were conceived from, it usually never works because it gets run into the ground MUCH quicker.
Sorry Aaron, but Imma have to say no on this one...
