I'm currently very skeptical about this. I like the concept of a Reaper who can kill other Reapers. Here's the thing; they said it will change the ending in some way. After the dissapointing ending...I don't know if it may be worth it to play again just for this DLC. Then again, I may get it just to see what they do. What do you think?

Eh, I'm really apathetic to anything that's coming out for ME3. It's just damage control, now. What's having a Reaper that kills other Reapers if it has no real impact on the game itself? The game is the same, in a relative way, but it's older.

I hate to bring this back up but, if you wanted to truly 'fix' the problem with the game, it's more than the ending: its the very fundamental gameplay you're gonna need to alter. You spend 2/3's of the game amassing this army only to not use it in any way other than build a deus ex machina that completely negates your entire actions. I think, with what they had initially set up, it would've been better if you had to distribute your points/armies using the galactic war map to defend those sectors (think of it a more Excel Spreadsheet version of Galactic Conquest from the Battlefront). Being that you had only so many points and multipliers, you could only save and defend so much; your choices actually carried weight when you made them and the consequences would've had more of a punch.

More micromanaging is what I'm saying but we all know Bioware isn't going to do that, and they sure as hell aren't going to be doing what I wished they'd do.

Gamers today don't want to micromanage or form strategies you silly goose. Gamers today want to point cursors at things and press the shoot button. Everyone knows that games get boring if there isn't some sort of gruesome death, explosion, or tits every few minutes to hold your attention. If anything, you should be thanking Bioware for being so in touch with what gamers want.

In all seriousness though, I agree.

Exactly. I rememeber in ME2 the planning needed to go through the Omega 4 Relay. If you weren't upgraded with the Normandy, you lost people. Picked the wrong person for a task, you lost someone. It's things like that I would have loved to see in ME3.

And yeah, I totally hated that all the assest I collected didn't even show. (The volus bomber, Aria's army, my ME2 crewmates fighting.) Ugh... and don't  get me started on the conversation changes in ME3

Well, if anyone failed at passing through the Omega-4 Relay in ME2 unscathed, that was incontrovertible proof that they were a dunce.

I remember the firrst time I played that mission and I made one little mistake: I had the wrong person to lead fire team and legion (the hacker) died. And that was the only person I lost.

If someone lost more than one crew member on their first playthrough, I totally agree with you; they weren't thinking.

I'm looking forward to it.

I've already legitimately seen the ending of this game 5 times, and achieved enough N7 levels in multiplayer to the point that I don't care anymore.  I may pick it back up for a lark at some time in the future, but for now, I'm done, and DLC just isn't the lure thats gonna get me back in.

Burnt out.
