I saw this movie at my grandfathers it was on ppv and he didn't have charter so I never got the name
It was about this dumb kid (or was mentally challenged) and he couldn't read so this handicap kid helps him out and befriends him the movie was told like you were reading a story and the handicapped name was screech (I think) at the end the handicap kid dies and at one point in the movie the dumb kids former dad tries to kidnapped him
