I recently watched Green Zone on DVD and can say without a doubt that it isn't the greatest movie.  However, it isn't a horrible movie either.  Matt Damon plays a believable character by the name of Roy Miller who sets out to find the truth about WMD in Iraq.  The problem with the movie is not being quite as real as The Hurt Locker.  In fact, the two are in slightly different genres.  The Hurt Locker is a movie about individuals and is character driven.  Green Zone on the other hand appears to be more action driven or is setting itself up for a lot of action sequences.  The story of Roy Miller may be based on truth  but the story surrounding it seems to contain contradictions.
The DVD contains two featurettes about the movie during production and the true story the movie is based on.  An audio commentary track is also on the disk.  I'm sure the blu-ray contains more extras.  This DVD did poorly on its opening week as did the movie.  However, that was when Avatar was still at #1.

I recently saw that movie on a plane and gave it a matinee, I'll check out The Hurt Locker too.
I didn't like The Hurt Locker, I was bored watching it...The Green Zone is a good action movie, that's it xD
