For those who dream 'Watchmen' will get any oscar nods....
What do I think of this........
Seriously??? If the Academy said "F#@% The Dark Knight", then in what parallel universe do you think Watchmen will be considered for best picture??? You gotta be kidding me. It's one thing that it's probably the most talked about subject here on spill(and gotten pretty overrated by now that you wouldn't have even clicked here if it didn't have the word 'Watchmen'), but to combined the words 'Watchmen' and 'Oscars' together are absurd. Unless if the film has a star that hollywood and the media are willing to kiss @$$ to, don't even bring up the word oscar for Watchmen. For example, look at Quentin Tarantino. His new film is for sure to get oscar buzz. Not because it's QT, but he has Brad Pitt as his leading man. Smart stragety coming off from that horrific film "Death Proof".
Since sunday, the oscar ratings went up from 22 million to 36 million vieweres. So now they must be thinking "Hey, we must of did something right". Maybe if you people would have boycotted it, then they would have probably reconsidered 'change'.
Screw it, think what you want to think. But just don't complain next year in January because we all saw it a mile away.
Yes, it's the most celebrated graphic novel. But it doesn't have a shot. Just sayin'
That's my rant this week.

I think we are definitely getting ahead of ourselves here people. Oscars? Really, the film isn't even out yet nor does it have as much buzz or acclaim as TDK had in the same period. I'm sorry but I just want this film to get out so I can see it, enjoy it and move on with my life.

Also like you im excited about the movie too but everyone knows that there is no possibility that a comic book movie will win an oscar maybe some day but probally in a long time also if you are tired about the watchmen romours dont write a blog screaming to the whole world you are tired of this shit then tell the people personally dont just scream the stuff we already know to the whole world say it to the fans personally
