I am going to throw a Walking Dead Premiere episode party. Just wondering if anybody in SpillLand has any experience with viewing parties. I would like any recommendations on what to do or not to do and how to make it work.

Booze.

I'm being serious to. Nothing too much just enough to get a buzz and be able to drive home at a reasonable time.

Also food, and good chairs. No one likes to stand.

Pretty basic. Thanks.

I already planned on getting shitfaced.

You got step one right:

Watch something shitty.

I take it not a Walking Dead fan?

locking the doors helps haha. ive done a thing on Boxing Day for 6 years now, 2 films and some supporting features etc. its usually fun, indeed some drink does help loosen some people up, just dont turn it into a drinking game etc....

If you have a wi-fi connection at your place, best turn it off, unless it's going to be essential to carry out the viewing party. You don't want everyone to start getting out their smartphones and going online and getting carried away from the whole "Viewing" ;p

I hope the episode isn't that boring.

Good food, clean place (serious), booze and great company.
