I just lost one of my cats to, of all things, Feline AIDS(or FIV). I just thought I'd share that it is indeed possible for cats to get it, and that you should have your kittens tested(as kittens that have it may of received immunities from their mother, and thus eliminate the need for testing later). Older cats with a positive test result may need special care. I was unaware of FIV, and it cost my cat his life.
It's most common means of spreading are deep bite wounds, so keep an eye on any marks.
It seems to effect only about 10% of the wild feline population, so compared to Feline Leukemia it is fairly rare. The problem is, there are effective vaccines for Feline Leukemia, where as for FIV the vaccines are hit and miss, and result in a permanent false positive on all future testing.
So yeah, I just felt like sharing the word.

My cat, she looked exactly the same. She would always lay on my lap whenever I'd play my PS2. Had to give her away after owning her for 3 years, all because of some new furniture...

I had two guinea pigs when I was a kid. They were my best bros.
My first, and favorite, one died when I was in middle school and the other one got depressed and died not long after.
Felt horrible man.

I know that feel so much. My little orange cat died when I was in middle school, it was even worse for me since I was the one that found her body, she died while trying to cling to a bed, her body literally froze there and the only thing that kept her from falling were her claws.
Dammit.
