I was very surprised by how much I liked The Hunger Games.

OF THE SUMMER, not year.

Didn't The Hunger Games come out in late May early June?

Is it that hard to look on IMDb or WIkipedia to find out when a film was released instead of asking someone around four hours later?

It'll probably save you a barrage of people calling you a moron...

Avengers
Moonrise Kingdom
Spiderman
Ted

Yeah, I really didn't like that many movies this summer.

I have only seen the 3 major superhero movies this summer, Amazing Spiderman, Avengers, and Dark Knight Rises. Amazing Spiderman was easily the weakest of the three, mainly due to an pretty unlikeable Peter Parker(not too unlikeable), EXACTLY even mix of good and inappropriate music and a mixed-up script. Dark Knight Rises goes next, only problem I have is it uses practically the same music during just about most of the scenes and a tiny mix up in script, still caps off best live action Batman series. Avengers gets 1 for me mainly because I thought it was going to fail, I thought it was just going to completely fall with its juggling and it suprised me when it didn't.

I liked Andrew Garfield better than Tobey McGuire. I liked that they made the character more about overcoming teenage struggles and less about being the "I have Superpowers, WOO HOO" guy. So I felt he needed to be whiny and unlikeable. Apart from that, though, they just borrowed everything from the last film. I hope the second will be better. And I agree w/ Nerdy Film Critic: I didn't really like very many movies this summer. Thought I would love TDKR and instead I felt satisfied. The only two I did love were the Avengers (they actually didn't mess it up!) and Moonrise Kingdom.

I actually forgot to mention that I saw Brave, it was not bad, it is just not awesome, SO MUCH BETTER than Cars 2. Great voice acting and REALLY great music, thanks to the Gaelic soundtrack. Story took a backseat, but it wasn't too bad, and Pixar's new animation engine works wonders. Pixar has done SO MUCH good, that I can give them a lot of breaks, but Pixar: DON'T OVERDO IT!!!!!

BATTLESHIP...hahaha not really. DKR, Avengers, Spiderman, Men in black (nearly made me cry!)

1. Avengers

2. The Amazing Spider-Man

3. The Dark Knight Rises

4.Brave

5. Prometheus
