I am of the belief that bacon needs to be used more sparingly. It should be regarded like fine aged wine or desserts. It should be savored and enjoyed. You don't just go throwing it on everything like it's ketchup.

Thank you! Bacon is not a condiment! Some people seem to be under the impression that certain dishes are perfected through the addition of bacon; but in reality, bacon is a perfect food that can only be diminished. Yes, your shitty vegetable dish is palatable because you wrapped it in bacon, but it would easily be twice as good if it was just bacon.

the jar i tried was devoid of 'bits' or chunks if you will, was just like mayonaise that tasted like bacon, I agree this is like a jar of spew OR maybe the contents of a nappy (diaper) that has been used by a whole mess of ankle biters

one thing I've wondered is what is the norm cut of bacon in other parts of the world. From my viewings of 'epic meal time' the bacon I see resembles this...
whereas I am use to something like this:
I have also come across this 'shoulder cut', although it seems to be processed when I come across it.
what cut do you get?
