If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Hello ladies and gentlemen. I am here to share my comic book musings to you people. Perhaps to give me guidance or advice or something. I've loved New 52 since reading Justice League #1 at my local Barnes and Noble (Red Hood and the Outlaws are a guilty pleasure of mine, admittedly). But when I go on other forums, people pour so much hate into the relaunch like it was JLA: Act of God or Countdown. It's not bad (some titles are mediocre, yes but nothing terrible). Can you guys give me something I can use? Please?
Aquaman is pretty decent too, actually. Most of the other books are crap if you ask me, and DC has probably lost my readership for a long ass time for what they did to Superman (he's the embodiment of hope for god's sake, whys he so mopey and why is his suit so dark?). Flash is pretty great so far, and Static Shock and Mister Terrific are pretty good too (so of course they cancel them).
The Wonder Women comics are a great read as well.
I've thoroughly been enjoying the new 52. Green Lantern's great, as well as GL New Guardians. Batman by Scott Snyder is awesome. Also Aquaman is actually really good, which is a surprise to me because I've never read an Aquaman comic in my life besides the new 52 one, and all I had to go off of was all the jokes that Aquaman is lame, but the new comic really proves that wrong.
A pleasant surprise to me is Teen Titans. Once you get over the new costume designs, its actually a really good book, with vibrant art, and fun characters to follow each month. And Tim Drakes a complete badass in it.
So, no, I don't think your wrong for liking new 52, its pretty much the only thing I'm reading right now besides The Walking Dead, and some Dark Horse titles. I mean, you can't really be wrong for liking anything, its your opinion and don't let anyone tell you that what you like is wrong, because those people are complete douches.
