The names of Dragonball are ALL messed up when translated to English.
Ever heard of the vegetable, burdock? That is an English word, and Toriyama has said it's derived from that same vegetable (just like all of the other Saiyans, such as Kakarrot (carrot), Vegeta (the word "vegetable), Nappa (the cabbage), Raditz (radittsu in Japanese, derived from radisshu, or radish), Tullece (lettuce), Paragas (asparagas), and Broli (broccoli).
Actually, if you think about it .. kind of makes sense in a strange way.
Let's say you got a concept that has around 100 characters divided into 10 groups. Wouldn't it sort of make sense to knowing name each group a certain item. Like Group A is veggies, Group B is musical instruments, Group C would be cars .. etc, etc, etc.
Helps the writers from being confused and using the wrong guys at the wrong time, and helps to "list" the top guys in each group by names.
isnt he supposed to become young -and heroic, as marsters said- at the end?
hope so. Plus, if he's locked in a temple -rather than in a jar- darkness would make his skin become white... which would kind of make sense.....
What the point of telling you guys this, I'm still going to see the movie............
