One more reason to fear Mother nature
I just rented Primeval. The "story " of the NAtural Geographic team that went to capture.Gustave the crocodile. What the hell were they thinking? the movie was good for a man vs nature flick. It shows once again, despit our big brains and nifty thumbs, just how easy we are to kill and eat when animals figure out we're easy marks.
Now for those of you who don't know Gustave here are some stats. 20-25 feet long 2000+ lbs waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy to many teeth and 300+ human kills on his resume. He's the only croc known to have killed and eaten an adult hippo. A hippo for crying out loud.
Now i know what you're thinking it's only a movie. Well yes and no. It's faction movie based on actual events but the names have been changed blah,blah,blah. When i watched the NAT GEO. special on this true life monster iI was amazed. You can't really put his size in perspective until he's aroun other crocs. basically take a chevy suburban and throw it in your pool. thats how effing big he is.
Stay out of Africa it will kill you.

If you take every fucked up thing the world and roll it into one you get Africa! As for the movie well I never saw it simple because the commercials make him out to be some god damn cereal killer and it's a crocodile! WTF! I don't care how many motherfuckers that bitch killed he's still a animal and I don't count that as being a cereal killer. Point of the movie is that guns are your friends until they shoot you and don't fuck with nature.

As far as i can tell from the research i've done on him you need like 50 cal or bigger to even hurt him small arms just bounce of. 7.62 doesnt even make him fllinch.
his prowess as a man eater is only rivaled by those two lions in ghost of africa. Serial killers pick their vitims based on certian traits, for the most part. Man eaters eat us because we're easy. the good news is they keep it to themselves. If animals as a whole figure this out we are so boned. (see trailer for Black Sheep)
