The Best Shock Endings in Movies (no spoilers)
Without ruining a classic movie ending, this is a discussion for the best shocking and out of nowhere endings in movies. Just to name a few and kick it off:
The Mist- I saw it in a packed theater and at the last twenty seconds everyone gasped at once.
The Orphanage- I was expecting all kinds of ways for that movie to end. But holy crap, I never saw that coming.
Psycho- one of the greatest shock endings in movie history.
The Sixth Sense- come on. What a great twist! Say what you want about M. Night now, this was the first and best shocker of his. The Village was just cheap and totally a f you to the audience.
I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Big fan of Unbreakable, I like M. Night, though signs and village were ......well not good, or at least for me.

The Audition had a great ending. I also enjoyed the ending on The Mist it was an ending nobody could have for seen.

There will be blood! That was an unforeseeable ending, brutal and shocking and totally awesome! Omg it almost made me cry!

It seems rather quizzical to create a topic about twist ending and then not allow spoilers. You are limiting people to just boilerplate responses which don't really mean anything, like:
I saw so and so movie, and the ending was incredible...
or...
I saw so and so movie and was blown away....
and?
The problem is you can't really get at why you had an emotional response if you can't talk about what happened. Without talking about why something affected you, there really isn't much to share.
